If you're looking to join a pediatric institution as your employer of choice, you need to look at the best in the nation.Responsible for performing any combination of the following but under the close supervision of either a senior cardiovascular technologist or a staff attending cardiologist: imaging, diagnosing, and assisting in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography; as well as monitoring the patient's respiratory and cardiac status for the duration of the study. The technologist must demonstrate an ability to function independently and consistently at the level of a Cardiovascular Technologist II, before being eligible to be upgraded to Cardiovascular Technologist II. Responsible for overall maintenance of medical equipment in the echo lab suite and its ancillary sites and for the completion of preliminary reports and other records. These tasks are performed in accordance with the policies and procedures of the

Certified Cardiovascular Technologist/Registry Eligible Graduate of accredited Cardiovascular ProgramAssociate of Science Degree with major inCardiovascular Technology Computer familiarityAbility to work well with children and put them at ease.Communicate well with others.
