Biomedical Technician II or III - Healthcare - Winchester, VA

ARAMARK Healthcare is seeking a Biomedical Medical Equipment Repair Technician II or III for a 4 hospital system (700 beds total) healthcare facility in Winchester, VA. As a Biomedical Technician you will repair, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment and instrumentation used in healthcare field. Inspects and installs medical and related technical equipment in medical and research facilities for use by physicians, nurses, scientists, or engineers involved in researching, monitoring, diagnosing, and treating physical ailments or dysfunctions. This person needs knowledge in the WITT (Cath Lab Hemodynamic system), and Philip's networking of critical care monitoring and GE's telemetry systems. A big plus will also be for computer repair and computer systems troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have critical caremonitor/pacemaker/Alcon phacoemulsifier experience.


Job Requirements


Ideal candidates will possess the following:
*Associates Degree (and/or requisite industry experience).
*Minimum of 5 years experience servicing medical equipment.
*Ability to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve equipment repairs is critical to success in this role.
*Knowledge of computers, electrical,electronic and mechanical principles required.
*Ability to explain and demonstrate the correct operation of biomedical equipment to medical personnel required.
*Knowledge and experience of biomedical equipment preventive and corrective repair standards and service.
