Assistant Director of Nursing,RN
The objectives of the position: 1) Assist referral sources in identifying patients with care needs that match the services provided by Beverly Healthcare 2) Educate the potential patient and family regarding the services provided, admissions process, treatment process and projected outcome 3) Communicate with appropriate nursing facility staff and ensure accommodations and staff are prepared for the patient 4) Coordinate the patient transfer 5) Complete necessary transfer and admissions paperwork.
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Completion of Bachelors Degree in related field, with evidence of advanced training or, is a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in good standing, currently licensed by state in which the services are provided.
· A minimum of five (5) years of general nursing experience required with at least two (2) years in long term care and two (2) years of successful experience in experience in either administrative, consultation or involvement in the survey process. Success is defined as a clear, demonstrated history of quality resident care management.
· Ability and willingness to travel extensively and work on-site in numerous facilities.
· Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate professionally and positively to Corporate, Regional, and Center Staff and work cooperatively with other associates at all levels as well as potential customers.
· Must have excellent documented assessment skills.
· Must demonstrate a work history of being a self-starter, working independently with minimum daily direction, self-motivation with goal directed sales skills.
· Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance.
· Must meet all local health regulations and pass post employment physical examination, if required.
· Must be capable of performing the essential job functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations.
