Assistant Director Cardiac Services

They have developed a new position for an ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF CARDIAC SERVICES. This position reports to the Director of Adult Inpatient Services and also coordinates with the Director of Cardiac and Pulmonary Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for operations and quality performance on the inpatient nursing units. He/she will implement business plans and will set the standards for nursing practice and professional growth and development. The individual will be responsible for operating and capital budgets related to cardiac inpatient units and leading quality initiatives. He/she will lead and collaborate with nurse managers to provide excellent patient and staff satisfaction. This is a leadership role in which the successful candidate will be a resource to program managers to ensure successful daily operations. He/she will also partner with the senior management team to develop and expand new services in the cardiac service line.





·RN, Masters Degree in Nursing or Business Administration
·Minimum of 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience
·Excellent management skills
·Excellent leadership and team-building skills
·Strong communication skills
