Anesthesia and Critical Care Specialist (ACCS)
In this role you will be responsible for creating primary demand for Precedex®, a proprietary pharmaceutical used for intravenous sedation; SEDLine™ and Hospira Sedation brain function monitoring equipment; and Opticath® family of Advanced Sensor Catheters by direct detailing to multiple hospital-based clinicians including Anesthesiologists, General Surgeons, Cardio Thoracic Surgeons, Intensivists, Pulmonologists, Critical Care Nurses, and Pharmacists. In this key role, you will also establish business relationships, influence decision makers, monitor and assess the competitive environment, achieve territory sales/business goals, and manage territory expenses. 20%-30% of travel will be required. Your territory will include Omaha and Lincoln, NE and Sioux Falls, SD. ***Please note: We are seeking candidates that reside in the Omaha area.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this position, you must possess:
Must possess a BS/BA, preferably in business/marketing, pharmacy, nursing, science, and/or other technical disciplines
3-5 years successful sales experience in a hospital environment preferred
A high-energetic, persuasive and tenacious attitude with the ability to learn and convey technical information to client base
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communications skills needed
Critical care nursing background experience or sales experience in critical care environment required
