The position of Ambulatory Sales Executive - National Accounts has recently become available within the Ambulatory Solutions Sales Group. This position will sell McKesson's Horizon Practice Plus and Horizon Ambulatory Care Solutions to large, geographically-diverse clients within the stand-alone Group Practice marketplace.Position Description
Responsible for the sale of certain products and/or services. Duties involve direct one-to-one communication with customer or client. Perform field promotion work and develop new accounts. Demonstrate products and/or services and provide assistance in their best application. Answer all questions concerning products and/or services, referring questions as necessary. May coordinate company product support (including technical engineering) and services to ascertain customer's needs. May close transactions and take orders. May estimate time and sales expenses expected and submit to management. Investigate product/service warranty claims to ensure resolution within marketing policies. May analyze records of present and past sales, trends and costs, estimated and realized revenue, administrative commitments and obligations incurred. Interpret accounts, trends and records to management. Sell to new and present clients. Contact prospects and explain features and merits of products or services offered, utilizing persuasive sales techniques.Minimum Requirements
3+ years of successful sales experience. Experience selling Practice Management and/or EMR systems strongly preferred.Additional Knowledge & Skills
PC-literate.Knowledge of current information systems technology (hardware and software) and of healthcare industry and trends.Strategic sales and account planning skills. Ability to manage multiple, complex, diverse projects and sales events simultaneously.Ability to demonstrate consistent closing techniques throughout the sales cycle. Exposure and participation in strong sales training preferred.Knowledge of effective sales territory management. Must also have strong discovery, consultative selling, negotiation and presentation skills.Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.Education
