Admitting Manager

Healthcare Resource Group is currently seeking an Admitting Director for the Los Angeles area to manage four facilities in addition HRG is seeking experienced Admitting Managers for the Orange County area. These positions are direct hire and/or Interim to perm opportunities.
REQUIREMENTS
The incumbent for this position will have a minimum of three years experience providing leadership and management direction within the Patient Access (Admitting/Registration) Department. Previous experience as a Supervisor of Patient Access for an acute care facility is preferred. This position will be responsible for the Registration/Communication staff to include; ER Registration, Inpatient Admitting, Pre-Admissions, Out-Patient Registration and Insurance Verification. Candidate will have knowledge of JCAHO, Title 22, Consent Laws, COBREA/EMTALA, Reimbursement and HIPAA regulations.

Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is preferred but not required. CHAM (Certified Healthcare Admissions Manager) certification is preferred. Salary is negotiable depending on experience. Candidate will possess excellent problem solving, organizational & analytical skills as well as the ability to communicate with all levels of management to include outside parties. Candidate will be resourceful, system savvy and very hands-on. Patient access and Microsoft Office applications are a plus. Strong team leadership including selection, motivation, training, coaching and evaluations.
