Leads and develops the Women and Infant Director team at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-St. Joseph.

Creates collaborative relationships within the hospital and throughout Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare System.

Serves as the liaison for Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare-St. Joseph and Southeastern Wisconsin Women and Infant’s Services.

Enhances communications and collaboration with medical staff throughout departments of responsibility.

Consults and advises Directors in achievement of Action O/I benchmarks with attention to productivity and resource utilization.

Monitors metrics related to market share, payor mix, productivity, quality indicators, including staff and physician satisfaction.Fiscal responsibilities:

Develops and administers budgets; plans, implements, and allocates resources in collaboration with Director team with a focus on operational excellence.

Responsible for coordination and monitoring of capital expenditures. Provides for equipment analysis and recommends modifications and acquisitions. Facilitates the development of business cases to support strategic capital initiatives relevant to service line.

Ongoing evaluation of current programs to assure financial viability.
Program planning and development:

Ensures efficient obstetrical patient flow that is fiscally sound, and provides for patient and physician satisfaction.

Assures coordinated patient care that is focused on best standard practice and Family-Centered Maternity Care.

Operationalizes an integrated Quality Improvement process that is inclusive of nursing and medicine.

Identifies and introduces relevant trends, research, and key concepts in Women and Infant’s service line.

Accountable for attaining PRC benchmarks for all areas of responsibility.

Ensures development and maintenance of necessary regulatory and departmental policies & procedures.
Business development:

Responsible for overall volume and revenue growth of Women and Infant’s Services.

Collaborates with Marketing Department in development of service line marketing strategies.Job RequirementsCurrent Wisconsin RN license and Master's degree in Nursing, healthcare or realted field.1. Leadership experience required.
2. Demonstrates ability and experience to successfully relate to and work with a large number of publics, including: administrative teams, medical staffs, applicable leadership, clinicians, employees, patients, payers and regulatory agencies. Ability to work as a team member and lead and execute an effort to a desired outcome. Demonstrates abilities to function as a leader.

4. Outstanding negotiation and verbal/written communication skills. Must be able to work effectively with diverse group of people.
