Account Representative

This individual will assist uninsured patients determine eligibility for various government assistance programs. This will be accomplished by interviewing patients to obtain information necessary to determine government assistance eligibility for healthcare services and following up with the patient and other personnel to complete recommendations and files. This provides a vital service to patients and the hospital. This is not a sales position.
REQUIREMENTS
•Bi-Lingual English/Spanish
•Good computer skills
•Good communication skills
•Works well with limited supervision
•Detail oriented
•Enjoys helping people
•Knowledge of SSI, Medicaid and other government assistance programs helpful
•Successful Drug and Background Screen Required
