Account Manager, Managed Care Accounts (Western Region)

We currently have an opening for an MCO Contract Manager. This position will be based out of your Home Office in the Western Region and be responsible for the following:

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

·The Account Manager of MCO (Managed Care Organization) Accounts will be based at the Corporate Office and be responsible negotiating MCO contracts and managing assigned MCO accounts in their region. The Account Manager will work with CCG, as does the RDMC to review contracts and prepare them for review by senior management. The Account Manager will also develop and implement an account management plan that includes regular account review with the contracting staff, meeting regularly with the plan Medical Directors and engaging the plan case management to insure that education on VAC therapy is provided to all case managers. Additionally, The Account Manager will actively work with PFS staff to insure that the contract is set up correctly in the KCI billing system and the payer adjudication system. Accounts that require detailed review to enhance the business process would also involve the input and assistance of the Account Manager. The Manager will assist the VP for Managed Care to insure that policies and procedures are consistent with the goals of contracting with MCO. The primary responsibility of the Account Manager is to serve as the primary contracting contact with the assigned non-priority MCO accounts.
REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:
·3 years Managed Care Contracting or Account Management
·Bachelors degree Required
