ADON, Staff Development Coordinator, Weekend Nurse Supervisor


Vista Ridge Nursing & Rehab Center, a Long Term Health Care facility in Lewisville, TX, currently has the following positions open:

ADON – RN or LVN
2 years experience in long term care.

Must be flexible in accepting assignments and be willing to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
Coordinates all care delivered on assigned units.
Monitors and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines, policies and procedures.
Must have strong communication skills
Management or supervisory experience a plus.
Needs strong computer skills, with excellent written and verbal skills.


Staff Development Coordinator
RN preferred.
Long-Term Care Experience preferred.

Is a member of the nursing management team. Will be responsible for all facility education, and associated record keeping. Will maintain and coordinate the facility nursing schedule and coordinate the staffing of the nursing units. Will monitor and maintain the infection control records. Will assist the DON in ensuring that the facility complies with all federal, state, and facility guidelines, policies and procedures. Must enjoy educating nursing staff at all levels.


Management/Supervisory Skills a plus
Must have 1 – 2 years of long term care nursing experience.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills.
Must be computer literate, and able to educational programs for staff.
Must self motivated, a self starter, and willing to work flexible hours.


Weekend Nurse Supervisor
2 years experience in long term care.
Must be flexible in accepting assignments and be willing to work the hours necessary to get the job done.
Coordinates all care delivered on assigned units.
Monitors and ensures compliance with all federal, state, and facility guidelines, policies and procedures.
Must have strong communication skills
Management or supervisory experience a plus.
Needs strong computer skills, with excellent written and verbal skills.

Friday 4 hours, Saturday 16 hours, Sunday 16 hours, Monday 4 hours
REQUIREMENTS
All of these positions MUST have Long Term Care Experience
Must display a genuine interest in geriatric care, and compassion for the aging
Must possess an openness in maintaining a multi-disciplined team approach to health care of the elderly
Must possess the ability to maintain/strengthen good working relationships with staff, residents, families and other health care providers
Must possess good skills in planning, organizing, directing and managing
Must possess a good sense of efficiency and delegation of work assignments
Must be knowledgeable and supportive of the community’s philosophy and objectives
Must be flexible and open to change.
