ACCREDITATION/PI PGM MGR

Classification: ProfessionalDuties and Responsibilities:
Christiana Care is currently recruiting for an Accreditation/ Performance Improvement Program Manager to work at our Wilmington Hospital location. The person selected for this position will primarily be responsible for leading and managing the Accreditation & Performance Improvement department and projects aligned with the strategic plan and performance improvement plan. Supervise personnel facilitating clinical, patient safety and process improvements in accreditation requirements with the objective of improving organizational performance and achieving accreditation.Education and Experience Requirements:
Masters degree in nursing or related healthcare field required. Licensed to practice nursing in the state of Delaware, minimum of one-year work experience in accreditation and or quality.
Certification by National Association for Health Care Quality preferred.
Supervisory and leadership experience required.
Organizational skills and project management experience required.
Education, understanding of and or experience in on or more of the following are desirable: information technology, performance improvement, clinical pathways/guidelines, Root Cause Analysis & Failure Mode & Effect Analysis, outcome analysis and education.You should apply for this position if you have:

Knowledge of Accreditation standards.
Knowledge of Performance Improvement process.
Knowledge of information systems.
Knowledge of project management principles.
Knowledge and understanding of operational capital budget processes.SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Flexibility and emotional stability to work under intense emotional, time and volume pressures.
