Produce Manager/Team Leader

Lead the Produce and Floral Subteam(if applicable) and is accontable for all department operations. Responsibilities include: Team Member hiring and supervision, buying and merchandising department products, managing financials, controlling inventory, complying with relevant regulations and standards, and completing special projects. Establish an maintain a positive work environment that sustains high Team Member Morale.
REQUIREMENTS
The Whole Foods Maket Management trainee program seeks individuals with two or more years of supervisory, managerial or leadership experience overseeing 5 or more employees in a retail, food or service industry. Person must have excellent comunication skills and believe in the Whole Foods philosophy- a culture that thrives on a "team" process.Person must be willing to travel within a 35 mile radius from their home and be flexible regarding hours (be willing to open or close a store). Must be willing to be a HANDS ON manager. Retail grocery experience a huge plus.
