Merchandising Services Coordinator

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Responsible for daily coordination of any and all resets and special project activity between the central Merchandising Services Department, the Division Store Stocking Departments and the retail division stores.
Direct the mapping teams by providing the appropriate tools and information needed for accurate collection of new store and remodel data.
Analyze test set and determine time requirements for SCOP resets, in addition to being responsible for notifying all parties involved, including RMS and MSI.
Manage the fair share and billing of equipment and shelving orders for all new stores, remodels and reset activity.Determine appropriate action towards solving all concerns and/or problems that are brought to attention from weekly RMS store calls.
Analyze the scope of centrally developed reset activities and determine any division specific exceptions and communicate to central Manager of Shelf Placement and Execution.
Provide schematics for new store and remodel reset teams as needed.
Coordinate new store scan verification needs with File Maintenance Clerks.Maintain (police) corporate merchandising standards within local retail marketing areas.
Manage 2 way communications with retail stores on reset schedules and concerns.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: The following are preferred or desired unless specifically stated:
BA/BS degree or equivalent related experience.
Minimum 2-3 years experience with Apollo schematic building software.
Minimum 2-3 years store level merchandising experience.
Extensive knowledge of blitz management and implementation requirements.
Broad knowledge of SCOP processes and procedures.
Strong PC skills and working knowledge of internal Safeway systems.
Broad knowledge of SSIMS, Microsoft Office and Access.
Team oriented with excellent time management, problem solving, and organizational skills.
Customer service oriented with ability to maintain positive attitude in all situations.
Must be multi-task oriented and able to act as a liaison between stores, divisions and corporate departments.
Must possess and demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, energy, and be very detail oriented
Sterling integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to see entire scope of project as well as paying attention to the details.
