Meat Team Leader

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced leader to motivate and direct our Meat Department. This individual is a mentor and role model for both operations in the department as well as an exemplar of exceptional Customer Service. Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Interview, Select and Develop Team Members. 2. Manage a team of 5-8 people. 3. Manage department financials. 4. Mentor team members and build team morale. 5. Manage the buying and ordering process to meet Whole Foods quality standards. 6. Uphold all cleanliness and safety standards. 7. Go above and beyond to excel in running a thriving and impressive department.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Dynamic leadership and communication skills. 2. At least 3-5 years of management experience, preferably in a meat or seafood department. 3. Cutting skills. 4. Able to lead a diverse group of Team Members. 5. Energetic character. 6. Good sense of humor. 7. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. 8. Passion for food.
