Grocery Supervisor (PM)

Summary: Performs all functions related to breaking down deliveries and moving back stock to floor. Assists Team Leader in organizing and developing promotional displays; maintains back room, training of entry-level grocery clerks. Trained and capable of operating any of the sub departments as needed. Maintains and ensures retail standards during their shift. Responsible for implementing teams break schedule. Could be focused on Opening or Closing shifts. Will Do: 1. Perform all duties and responsibilities of Grocery TM 2. Build displays and request appropriate signage. 3. Supervises shift to ensure retail standards are maintained. 4. Coordinates and implements break schedule for shift. 5. Responsible for answers and problem solving in Team Leader or associate Team Leader’s absence. 6. Fully responsible for completion of all opening or closing checklists. 7. Responsible for checking in deliveries. 8. Handling and maintaining special orders. 9. Performs all duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Must Have/Be: 1. Minimum 1 year retail grocery experience, or equivalent. 2. Proficient in math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division). 3. Ability to perform physical requirements of position. 4. Proper use of baler (must be 18 years of age or older). 5. Able to direct Team Members and implement break schedule. 6. Ability to work well with others.
