Front End Supervisor

Works together with other Team Members to assure that all objectives and goals of the department and store, as communicated by the Store Leadership/Coordinator, are met or exceeded. Provides excellent customer service while serving and selling the highest quality foods. Abides by the strictest standards of physical and food safety, freshness and sanitation. Assist and support the FETL and AFETL with all departmental functions. Follow through on all customer questions and requests. Create a labor schedule to leverage productivity within the needs of the department. Ensure department orders for equipment, supplies and product are timely and accurate. Keep all cases and shelves clean, well stocked and product rotated. Follow established food safety, cleaning and maintenance procedures. Maintain accurate retail pricing and signage. Oversee sampling of store products to the customers. Be aware of new products and their placement. Maintain back stock supply areas. Know and practice proper lifting techniques and safe use of all tools and equipment. Practice proper care and maintenance of all equipment. Report safety violations and hazards immediately; maintain department security. Communicate with Team Members regarding all department operations. Communicate company information to Team Members. Keep Store Leadership informed of all events that affect the department. Participate in regional and national sales promotions. Accept and process product from Receiver. Attend store and regional meetings. Perform Team Member duties as required to run the department. Maintain correct cash drawer set up funds. Exchange cash and change with bookeepers. Schedule Team Member break and lunch periods. Process customer returns and credits. Authorize check and credit card transactions. Make gift card sales to customers. Enter breaker information at the end of each sales day. Ensure Wrist Wand exercises are performed by department Team Members. Regular attendance is essential. Perform other duties as assigned by Store Leadership/Coordinator.
REQUIREMENTS
Desire to become an Associate Front End Team Leader. Must be self-motivated and solution oriented. Excellent merchandising skills and eye for detail. Good communicator and motivator; able to work well with others and convey enthusiasm Can train and inspire Team Members to excellence in all aspects of the department. Love and knowledge of natural foods. Is available for flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the department. Knowledge of basic computer skills. Cashier experience or equivalent. Possession of a current Serv-Safe certificate is highly recommended In current position/location for at least 6 months.
