Buyer - Quincy, IL

Niemann Foods, Inc. is one of the largest Midwest Grocery retailers operating over 65 locations. We are currently looking for a Buyer for our Corporate Office in Quincy, IL.
This Buyer position would be responsible for continuously buying and creating plans to drive sales and gross profits in assigned categories. The Buyer would also handle vendor service issues from the stores.Responsibilities include: Collect all appropriate information concerning assigned category and submit Ad.
Daily planning to drive sales and gross profits.
Negotiate costs
Contract writing
Solicit Demos
Select Ad and In-Store deals
Monitor changes in categories
Monitor sales in categories
Monitor gross profit in categories
Resolve vendor service issues
