Wireless LAN/WAN Engineer

Our client is a worldwide information technology consulting services and solutions company who is looking for a Network System Engineers to work on the design and integration of its wireless systems.
Candidates should have experience in providing a custom solution for 802.1x, law enforcement, and other unlicensed bands. Our team is supporting government customers in the integration of best-in-class network systems.
Reports to the Manager of Network Engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
•Experience in the deployment of LAN/WAN and security architectures is desired
•Experience in deployment of wireless LAN systems,
•Experience with Federal law enforcement or state and local architectures.

Required Engineering Background:
•5+ years of network engineering, LAN/WAN, and wireless experience
•Ability to work in fast paced environments
•Flexible and creative, able to adapt to environments where functional and business objectives evolve and change rapidly
•Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
•Able to work in a close-knit team environment, able to work with technical and non-technical staff at al levels
Desired Background:
•Federal contracting experience will be a plus
