Initiates sale leads and makes appointments with corporate executives in the private sector. Provides assistance to employers with their requests for Transportation Demand Management (TDM) program information. Encourages employers to provide commuter incentives and alternatives for their employees such as Smartrip cards, Metrocheks, shuttle service, car sharing, bus and rail service, vanpools, telework, flextime, parking management and guaranteed ride home. Conducts employee transportation surveys at designated employment sites in cooperation with the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments Commuter Connection Program. Oversee the County’s vanpool program. Prepares written documents, progress reports and monthly reports for the Washington Metropolitan Council of Governments Commuter Connection Program. Assists the Transit Services Division with special assignments and promotional events as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Qualifications: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from a four year college or university with a degree in civil engineering, urban/transportation planning, or a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience using Act DataBase and Microsoft Office software.
