500 companies worldwideInterest Category: Operations/MaintenanceJob Description: Supervises and coordinates maintenance activities which generate labor dollar values between $1 and $6M / 100 employees or less.Essential Responsibilities:
1. Provides guidance to deliver efficient work procedures, work schedules and workflow.
2. Monitors contractual delivery orders, contract funds status, customer satisfaction and satellite job sites for contract compliance.
3. Supervises, coordinates, assigns duties, provides leadership and reviews the work of assigned staff and/or contracts for exactness, neatness and conformance to policies and procedures.
4. Monitors and fosters harmony among the crew complement.
5. Reviews composite reports from individual reports of subordinates prior to submission.
6. Provides guidance to correct errors and complaints.
7. Monitors work sites during and after completion to determine safety, quality and completeness.
8. Monitors the process of work orders, labor time sheets and material requests for accuracy before submitting.
9. Prepares written and oral reports to the Program Management staff as required.
10. Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting up to 20 pounds, constant sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must posses planning/organizing skills and must be able to work under deadlines.Other Responsibilities:Safety: LSI/EG&G enforces a safety culture whereby all employees have the responsibility for continuously developing and maintaining a safe work environment. REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: Lear Siegler Services has an opening for a Supervisor I in support of our maintenance facility at Marana, AZ.High School diploma/GED and at least five years as journeyman or equivalent of program/project management experience with budgetary responsibilities of $6M. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and contract delivery orders. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as man-hour standards and percentages. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to work through problems effectively involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Position may require travel. Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a security clearance.
