Software Configuration Management Analyst

Assists in documenting and tracking all aspects of software development and modification. Oversees controls of a large scale change management process. Assists in performing software configuration management, ensuring release integrity through a multi-stage test environment. Attends software reviews and verbally reports on configuration issues and status. May structure and maintain databases, code, or other items to create and document baselines; verifies authorization for and incorporates all changes or additions to them. Responsible for logging, filing, and tracking necessary documents and lists. Compiles and summarizes data to use in preparing reports. Analyzes operating data involving records, reports, transactions or other documents for accuracy and inconsistencies.

Education: BS or BA
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to use, install, and administer configuration management tools. Ability to apply practical knowledge to complete assignments. Ability to use correct verbal usage, written or oral, is needed to accurately post, carry out and understand assignments, or convey and/or exchange routine information. Requires ability to read and understand design documents, and administer commercial software.

The candidates we would consider must have PVCS and VM experience (serena).

Desired Skills: Ability to use, install, debug, and administer document management tools. Ability to create and conduct small group training on COTS tool usage.
