Representative - Logistics

o Exercise ILS & Maintainability signoff authority on CRs/ECPs, drawings & models going through the CCB and design approval processes.

o Develop maintainability factors, allocations/predictions for new concepts/designs.

o Develop maintainability & supportability requirement inputs to design specifications, trade studies & tradeoff analyses.

o Assess emerging design for requirements compliance and recommend design alternatives to enhance supportability and maintainability.

o Identify materials in customer inventory to serve as an alternative to new design.

o Design/develop special tools for field use. Develop Change Requests & Engineering Change Proposals for ILS areas of responsibility in the technical data packages.

o Perform analyses & computer modeling to support “repair/retrofit verses discard” & repair level
decisions and to develop/assess alternate support/ maintenance concepts

o Translate engineering & other technical information into source data for ILS material developers.

o Investigate customer inquiries and provide responses and materials.

o Develop service bulletins to mitigate problems and implement design changes into fielded equipment.
REQUIREMENTS
1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology required.
2. Hands on experience in diagnostics, maintenance and support of complex systems in a military environment
3. Experience in development of maintainability allocations and predictions for use in the systems engineering process.
4. Familiar with US military logistics support structure, policies and procedures
5. Personal computer skills (competent with MS Office applications). Experience with Pro-E & RELEX is a definite plus.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills.
7. Must meet ASR requirements
8. Occasional work in prototype shop and field test environment required
9. Occasional, short-term travel required.
10. Occasional week day and/or week end overtime required
11. Must be a US citizen and be able to obtain a security clearance.
