Registered Nurse-Telemetry Responsibilities & Overview:The Progressive Care Unit is a (33) Bed ICU step-down and telemetry unit with individual patient rooms throughout. A level II Trauma Center, we give top quality care to medical, surgical, and neurological trauma patients, ages 16 years and older. We have excellent working relationships with our physicians and staff.Classes required for our nursing staff are basic coronary care, advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), and a hemodynamic monitoring or basic critical care class. We encourage candidates who wish to be considered for PCU to obtain these classes or classes related to critical care. REQUIREMENTS
Registered Nurse-Telemetry Must Possess: Education:Graduation from a recognized college with diploma or degree as a Registered Nurse. License/Certificate:Must possess and maintain a current valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.Possession of a valid California Driver’s License may be required of some positions in these classes. Pre-Employment:All employment offers are contingent upon successful completion of both a pre-employment physical exam, including a drug/alcohol test, and a criminal background investigation, which involves fingerprinting.
