Quality Assurance Specialist

Review quality assurance standards, study existing policies and procedures, and interview personnel to evaluate effectiveness of programs. Develop and implement quality assurance checklists and procedures. Perform internal monitoring and audit activities to determine compliance to standards and regulations. Review customer and employer service satisfaction data and develop reports of findings and trends.

Review and evaluate Wisconsin Works customer case file records. Prepare reports relevant to findings for management review and corrective action. Monitor corrective action activities to determine effectiveness. Monitor case activities and assure compliance with programmatic and locally developed procedures.

Identify trends in performance reporting and offer continuous improvement strategies and recommendation.
REQUIREMENTS
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals using Microsoft Word and Excel.

Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference; percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical situations.

Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

Helpful to have Wisconsin Works program knowledge / experience.
