Regional Planning Agcy - The Capitol Region Council of Governments (www.crcog.org) seeks qualified applicants for the position of Special Project Coordinator (SPC). Perform research and analysis and write issue/policy option papers on items of regional significance. Identify, analyze and make recommendations on a variety of management, budgetary, planning, strategic and operational issues; conduct special assignments; prepare status reports; draft executive communications. Design annual report. Produce monthly newsletter and press releases. Plan content for Annual Meeting, Legislative Reception and large meetings. Assist in research and prep of legislative agenda. Write legislative testimony. Manage funding recruitment for 501c(3) Foundation. Must possess ability to prepare and present complex written and oral reports, manage deadlines, and strong attention to detail. Interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
