The individual will coordinate regulatory activities for FMC’s Agricultural Products Group (APG) North America crop and non-crop businesses. This person will work closely with Development, Marketing and Business Development functions of both businesses to prioritize work and regulatory activities to ensure timely labeling and entry of FMC products into appropriate markets as well as plan and implement regulatory strategies to maintain current product labels. Manage regulatory group and be responsible and accountable for budget management and overall regulatory direction for North America.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Direct all Regulatory activities to ensure appropriate and timely labeling of FMC products at the state and federal level. Build and maintain working relationships within EPA personnel to manage regulatory outcomes.

· Responsible for development and management of NA and SPB Regulatory budget · Direct all Canadian regulatory activities to ensure appropriate and timely labeling of FMC products in Canada. Build and maintain working relationships within PMRA personnel to manage regulatory outcomes.

· Acquires leadership positions in influential influencer and consultant organizations, which provide APG presence, through strategic alliances with business and community thought leaders. Utilizes these associations to communicate APG’s market place solutions and services and to ascertain needs of diverse community groups

· Develop third party allies and coalitions for legislative priorities

· Responsible to ensure the integration of Product Stewardships and responsible care codes of APG into new products and expanded labels.

· Responsible to manage and continuously pursue the process to manage high level performance team within function and cross functionally.

· Responsible for the execution of business plans in line with the business strategy and proactively manage and lead new opportunities in technical support to meet business objectives.

Experience

· 10 + years of experience and contacts within the US EPA and Canada PMRA preferably in the agricultural regulatory arena

· Experience in project management skills in registration of full packages

· Experience with regulatory processes at the state level

· Regulatory experience in product acquisition

· People management experience

· Demonstrated leadership skills in strategic thinking, operational excellence, communication and networking

· Leadership ability to drive organization to support & attain business objectives & continue to drive superior performance in the team. · Excellent interpersonal skills and proven track record to have worked in a cross functional environment

· Demonstrated ability to take the business strategy & incorporate in the function to align and with organizational goals to drive high performance functions.

EDUCATION
· MS/PHD in Agricultural and/or Regulatory Science or related field
