If you’re a practicing dentist: Get a $30,000 sign-on bonus right from the start. On top of that, collect over $120,000 for dental school loan repayment by applying to receive more than $30,000 each year for up to four years.


If you’re a dental student: Get over $180,000 to pay tuition costs while finishing dental school – along with a monthly stipend of $1,279 to cover living expenses.



If you’re a dental resident: Get more than $160,000 to pay off student loans and cover living expenses during a typical four-year residency. That’s an annual grant of $27,003 paid directly to you on top of your normal salary – plus a monthly stipend of $1,279.



Once in the Dental Corps: Get ongoing graduate dental and research training – funded by the Navy.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
This is an Active Duty position as a Navy Dental Corps Dentist. To qualify for employment consideration, you must meet the following requirements:



Must be a U.S. citizen

Must have graduated from a dental school approved by the American Dental Association

Must be licensed to practice in a U.S. state, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or a U.S. territory. New graduates must obtain a license within one year of beginning Active Duty service

Must be willing to serve a minimum of three years of Active Duty

Must be capable of completing 20 years of Active Duty service prior to age 62

Must be in good physical condition and pass a full medical examination
