NEW MEXICO MILITARY INSTITUTE Information Technology Technician New Mexico Military Institute announces a vacancy for a full-time, 12-month position of Information Technology Technician. Under general supervision, maintains and upgrades the computer network of copper and fiber optic wiring as well as hardware and associated software; maintains and upgrades the telephone network wiring/hardware; researches and recommends new equipment and technologies; troubleshoots computer problems; and performs related duties as assigned. The equivalent of a High School Diploma is required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Five (5) years experience working with computer equipment including hardware and software preferred.
