Municipal Clerk

The Village of Davis Junction (pop. 1849) seeks applicants for position of Municipal Clerk. Municipal Clerk will report to and work with Village President. Duties include but are not limited to the keeping of the official records and seal of the village, taking minutes of up to six (6) evening meetings, manage building department, collect payments, process utility bills and meter readings with LOCIS software, Consolidated Election responsibilities, putting together quarterly newsletter, general supervision of office staff and coordination of day to day operations of the Village Hall. Must have ability to perform all aspects of general office work, with excellent communication, and organizational skills and ability to multitask. Candidates must have 3 years minimum office and computer experience with working knowledge in MS Word and Excel; LOCIS knowledge a plus. Ability to work as a team member and work independently essential. Must be available to work Mon-Fri. Drug testing and background check required. Position will require you to be bonded. Starting pay dependant upon qualifications and experience. No health, vacation, or sick pay benefits offered.
