MEDICAL CODERS - IDAHO - Long Term Contract

POSITION: CLINCIAL CODING/AUDITING SPECIALISTS
DURATION: LONG TERM CONTRACT
LOCATION: MOUNTAIN HOME, IDAHO

Kelly FedSecure seeks MEDICAL CODING TECHNICIANS for long term contract - Mountain Home, Idaho. Successful candidates must be Certified Coding Specialists (CCS), Registered Health Information Technicians (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrators (RHIA) to analyze, abstract, and assign ICD-9 CM and HCPCS codes to patient health information. Must have three years recent coding experience with a variety of patient diagnoses, procedures and visit types. Salary commensurate with experience.

Qualifications:

Nationally recognized accreditation required: Certified Coding Specialist(CCS), Certified Coding Specialist - Physician Based (CCS-P), Certified Procedural Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Registered Health Information Administrator RHIA), 3 years experience outpatient coding or ambulatory setting. NO ENTRY level! US Citizenship & ability to obtain/maintain a government issued security clearance. Security cleared preferred.

Proficient knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, pharmacology, surgical & medical procedures sufficient to code for optimum billing. Knowledge extends to a number of medical/surgical specialties & human physiological systems: acceptable medical abbreviations & their meanings & interpretation in use of specialized references, such as medical nomenclatures, medical dictionaries, & texts & medical journals to accurately spell out & use medical terminology. Basic computer functionality.
