for Joint Knowledge Development and Distribution Capability (JKDDC)
Joint Management Office (JMO)This position is located at the US Joint Forces Command’s (USJFCOM) Joint Warfighting Center (JWFC) in Suffolk, VA. This position will support the Knowledge Management (KM) Branch of the JKDDC JMO. The KM Lead Analyst will lead a contractor team that will provide operational and technical services support to the KM Manager in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of knowledge management goals and objectives.Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assists in the development of the JKDDC vision and strategy.
•Assists the KM Manager in directing day-to-day operations of the branch.•Assists in developing, managing, and monitoring knowledge management processes and procedures.•Identifies DoD operational training gaps, and recommends training solutions and delivery methodologies for specific training requirements.
•Evaluates applicability of Advanced Concepts training approaches to specific training requirements.
•Conducts coordination as directed to facilitate synchronized KM activities between JKDDC JMO branches, JWFC organizations, Department of Defense (DoD) agencies, the Advanced Distributed Learning Co-Labs, and other external agencies.
•Supports the development of research and development requirements with applicable DoD agencies.•Assists in establishing processes to link training with readiness reporting systems and to ensure effective measurement of individual joint education and training effectiveness.
•Establishes KM working relationships and cooperative efforts with interagency, intergovernmental, nongovernmental, and multinational partners.
•Directs the actions of the JST team that supports the KM Branch.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge and Experience Requirements:•Direct DoD operational environment experience•Experience working with DoD and non-DoD entities, and knowledge management processes, capabilities, and systems.
•Knowledge of analytical and statistical methods and capabilities.
•Knowledge of DoD and joint programs, policies, and procedures for joint doctrine, education, and training.
•Knowledge of multi-Service and DoD civilian personnel, education, and training methodologies.
•Experience developing instruction through the Instructional Systems Design process.•Knowledge of Advanced Distributed Learning concepts (i.e. Shareable Content Reference Model)
•Knowledge of Learning Management Systems and ADL repositories and distributions systems.
•Knowledge of management and organizational principles and practices.
Education Requirements:
•Masters Degree in Instructional Systems Design or related field. (Bachelors degree and five years experience in instructional systems design can be substituted for Masters requirement.)Secret or above security clearance required.
