Government Affairs Manager

American Medical Response, the nation’s leading provider of ambulance services has an immediate opening in its Regional Communications and Government Relations Department. The Government Affairs Manager will be responsible for maintaining successful community and public relations programs within the assigned area.

The Government Affairs Manager will continously develop, implement, and enhance integrated community service/public relations in order to ensure AMR's competitive and successful place in the local markets. Ensure superior customer relations through regular visits with contracted and prospective clients. Arrange for providing education, support and services that will contribute to the success of local community relations and required contractual compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations, Political Science, or equivalent experience. A minimum of two years of successful experience in public relations and a minimum of two years doing customer relations is required. Working knowledge of MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must have effective oral, written and interpersonal communications skills. Operational knowledge of Emergency Medical Service systems and/or five years experience in an EMS related field is preferred.
