Qualifications Include:
Citizen of the United States.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Eyesight shall be at least 20/20 corrected and may not be afflicted with color blindness or any other eye abnormalities at the time of offer of employment.
Must have attained their 21st birthday and be under the age of 35, at the time of the last date for filing applications. (October 6, 2006)
Must have a valid driver's license.

Starting salary is $48,706 (Effective 1/1/07) plus other excellent benefits.

Applications available Monday, 9/18/06 (8:30 a.m.) through Monday, 10/02/06 (5:00 p.m.), and must be returned no later than Friday, 10/6/06 at 5:00 p.m. A $15.00 processing fee is required, and payable when the application is picked up.

An orientation and 1.5 mile run will be conducted on Sunday, 10/15/06. A written exam will be administered on Sunday, 10/22/06 and the Physical Agility Phase 2 exam will be conducted on Saturday, 10/28/06.
