Join the Seattle Public Utilities pollution control team, track down sources, & help prevent pollution from entering Seattle's waterways. Inspect private drainage systems, enforce environmental regulations, & work with business and property owners to reduce discharges. Collect sediment & storm water samples, determine sources, & report on the resolution of investigations. Req's the equivalent of 2yrs of civil or environmental engineering exp, & either an AA degree in a related field or 2yrs of college level coursework in engineering.
