Director , Health and Human Services

The Director will be Working on a project dedicated to helping families on public assistance achieve self-sufficiency primarily though employment. The project assesses participants, develops self-sufficiency plans, addresses barriers to successful employment, places persons in jobs, and helps them retain them and upgrade to better paying positions.

Reporting to the SVP, the Director has full P/L responsibility for a multi-site workforce of 80+ employees in a demanding $7 million performance-based welfare-to-work project. The project has a history of being top rated in performance and quality, and requires a Director who is committed to meeting all contractual quality standards and deliverables while producing concrete, measurable results for our clients.

Candidate must possess:
· 7+ years progressively responsible management experience in health and human services program management coupled with broad knowledge of TANF guidelines.
· Proven track record of successful financial management with profit and loss accountability for projects with annual revenue in excess of $3 million.
· Demonstrated ability to manage a large-scale program engagement and provide guidance and direction to staff.
· Demonstrated experience meeting and exceeding contractual requirements.
· Demonstrated ability to develop, lead and motivate a strong management team.
· Proven track record of maintaining strong strategic relationships with clients.
· Bachelor’s degree
