Developer II

Job Description:

This programmer develops and enhances client server database applications using Microsoft .NET, Visual FoxPro and SQL Server. The Developer II is responsible for developing applications, modules, and reports for Visual FoxPro and .NET applications in the Public Safety Software industry. This position also is responsible for maintaining and enhancing various parts of these systems. The Developer II position requires working onsite in the High Point office. Minimal travel is required.
REQUIREMENTS

· Good communication skills

· Experience with XML and external interfaces to other applications preferred

· Strong debugging and problem solving skills required

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment required

· Ability to meet deadlines for multiple tasks and projects required

· Ability to work well on individual tasks as well as working in a team environment

· Public safety background or experience a plus

Skills/Experience:

Visual FoxPro version 5 or higher

T-SQL and MS SQL Server Programming

.NET Winforms

ASP.NET v1.1 or 2.0 a plus

Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
