SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION: Candidate must be capable of working in a high pace, high pressure environment with demanding schedules and deadlines. Candidate must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision and in an IPT environment. Candidate will be expected to understand requirements and implement them into design solutions. The candidate will be expected to work

closely with engineering and management in support of overall system integration.

Desired Skills: design and development background in the space industry or a related field. Required Skills: CAD, excellent written & verbal communication skills, skills and tools necessary to provide cost effective and safe solutions to unique design challenges, proficieny and experience using Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, Power Point and Project. Applicant selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.Good knowledge of the job. Substantial acquaintance with and understanding of general aspects of the job with a limited understanding of the technical phases of the job. Performs a variety of activities which involve standard procedures. Gathers and manipulates common data, verifies adequacy and appropriateness; develops charts, diagrams, and standard reports. In technical or production positions, may also set up and operate

standard electronic or mechanical equipment used to develop, produce and/or test products or process data.



STANDARD JOB DESCRIPTION: Plans, lays outs, draws, and revises part, assembly, and installation engineering drawings from basic layouts, established references, notes and discussions with engineers, and standard data. Utilizes computer-aided design equipment and/or manual tools. Completes layout drawings prepared by others in accordance with standard engineering drafting practices or may develop complete major layouts of engineering drawings. Within parameters determines scaling required; inserts necessary reference

planes, centering and dimension lines, hidden line interpolations, and sectioning; prepares specifications for parts, assemblies, and installations; prepares complete production detail drawings; contributes design modifications to improve quality of product or facilitate

manufacturing operations.

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma, or equivalent experience/combined education, with additional specialized technical

training equivalent to a technical Associate degree and/or demonstrated ability to perform assigned technical/para-engineering tasks and

1 Year of experience.
