Contracts Administrator

The successful candidate should have an extensive knowledge of federal contracting to include:
• In-depth knowledge of government contracting approaches, procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Knowledge of various government contract types and vehicles including CPAF, T&M, and Fixed Price, GWAC and IDIQ contracts
• Acquisition planning (i.e., Industry Day, RFI, RFC, RFP, etc.)
• Identification of source selection criteria and participation in source selection efforts
• Preparation and analysis of technical, management, and cost proposals
• Preparation, analysis, and negotiation of Engineering Change Proposals
• Facilitation and participation in Award Fee Evaluations
• Interaction with Government representatives in negotiations, documentation, and contractual actions required to maintain progress on various programs.
• Monitoring and tracking the various performance aspects of on-going contracts.

The position requires the ability to prepare all contract documentation for signature by the Government’s Contracting Officer’s and Contracting Officer’s Representative’s for any new contract actions. That requires independent research, analysis, and preparation prior to finalizing contract documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate must have a minimum of ten years relevant experience in the Government contracting arena and a BS degree. The position requires a professional work attitude, ability to communicate openly with management and coworkers, and to work as a team player. This position requires interaction with internal executive management and federal executive program management. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The candidate must be willing to work at a Government designated work location (i.e., FBI Headquarters or a contractor site TBD).
