The City of Lenexa, KS Police Department is accepting applications for a full time Communications Technician. Work includes the installation, repair and maintenance of a variety of city-owned electrical, electronic and electromechanical equipment, including automotive emergency equipment, mobile video recording systems, and the components of the City's two-way radio communication systems.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires a H.S. diploma or GED, with related college or technical coursework preferred. Applicants must successfully pass a written and practical test, polygraph, and extensive background investigation. Post-offer physical and drug-screen required. Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a good driving record. Starting pay is $14.80 per hour plus a comprehensive benefit package.
