Child Welfare Specialist

Provide case management to intact families who have been referred by DCFS after being investigated and indicated for child abuse or neglect. Services are provided to families after assessment, and weekly visits are made to monitor progress and continuing child safety. A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology or a COA approved major in a human services field is required.
