The Community Code Enforcement Field Supervisor directs the Code Enforcement Unit to ensure uniform enforcement of a wide variety of codes, regulations and ordinances that impact commercial, industrial and residential properties. Incumbents perform the full range of technical, field, office and investigative work associated with the enforcement of the City’s Land Development Code and Property Maintenance Code including Zoning, Lighting, Landscaping, Signage and Subdivisions.
Flagstaff is the largest community in the high country and is the county seat for Coconino County, the second largest county in the United States. A historic Route 66 town, Flagstaff is ideally located at the juncture of Interstate 17 and Interstate 40. Though still reflecting a small town atmosphere, it maintains a selective growth plan with new expansion programs underway.
