Assistant FSO

No.: OPS-F06-037The Assistant FSO responsibilities will incorporate physical and personnel security on multiple classified contracts.Duties will include: to maintain document control inventories, receive and transmit classified material; manage personnel security programs; manage incoming and outgoing visitor control; conduct initial and refresher security briefings; conduct periodic self-inspections and audits; maintain intrusion detection systems (IDS); maintain general access control system; manage classified contract specifications (DD254s) and prepare DD254s for subcontracts; Manage Information Systems Security requirements; write and monitor COMSEC account.The applicant must meet current SSBI clearance eligibility requirements and have five years experience as a security professional supporting Department of Defense programs.Must have experience with security management policies and procedures, promote and enforce proper handling of classified material.Demonstrate a solid knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM.Individual should be thoroughly familiar with DCI Directives (DCIDs), NISPOM-SUP, Department of Defense (DoD) regulations, Executive Orders (EOs), and the Industrial COMSEC Manual. Experience with Security Management System (SMS) or SIMS, JPAS, eQIP, ISFD, and MS Office is strongly desired. Position requires the candidate to be a self-motivated, organized individual with effective verbal and written communications skills.
