Utility Operator

CARBO has an opening for a Utility Operator at our New Iberia manufacturing facility.

Utility Operator

The Plan Operator operates mixers, rotating kilns, ball mills, forklifts, front-end loaders and related equipment in the manufacture of ceramic proppants for the oil and gas industries. This position performs some maintenance tasks related to the operation of the equipment.

Candidates must have a high school education and experience working in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Must be willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts in a hot and dusty environment. The graduated hourly pay rate starts at $14.87, with excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, profit sharing and 401(k).

CARBO is located at the Acadiana Regional Airport, 15 miles from Lafayette and 5 miles from New Iberia.
