Marathon Petroleum Company, LLC, is accepting applications for Relief Operator positions at the St. Paul Park Refinery location. The following qualifications must be met for employment: High School diploma or equivalent; good verbal communication skills; the ability to lift 30 pounds and climb about 40 feet; the ability to work in confined spaces and wear self-contained breathing apparatus; the ability to work with hand tools, including a 10" valve wrench; ability to work rotating shifts, participate in emergency response, and work in all types of weather.
The preferred candidate will also have: two years experience with mechanical or technical processing in an industrial setting; and the ability to quickly learn industrial processes and equipment, follow written plans and procedures, and possess personal computer skills.
All applicants will be required to take an assessment before candidates are selected for interviewing. The assessment will take place on site at a later date. The starting wage is $19.58/hour, with a potential to earn up to $30.00/hour. Marathon offers a comprehensive benefits package.
