Hu-Friedy Manufacturing Company is the worldwide leader in the manufacture of precision dental instruments. We have an excellent career opportunity for an energetic individual with a strong sales/marketing background for the following Chicago based position:

Region Sales Manager

Working out of your home office, you will use your marketing talents to manage, mentor and guide the selling activities of our region-1/8s sales force in order to ensure maximum sales performance, enhance market share penetration and achieve annual sales objectives. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing sales programs, training our sales force to ensure achievement of marketing plans, and developing the annual regional operating expense budgets and reporting budget performance.

A college degree in a related Business field or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required. You must also be a team player who has at least 8-10 years of Sales and Sales Management experience, preferably within the medical or dental industry, as well as further field sales management experience within a distribution sales channel. Marketing experience is a plus. The ability to sustain mutually beneficial relationships, coupled with outstanding verbal and written communication talents are a must. Proficiency in territory database management systems is essential.
