Production Supervisor

If so, then we would like you to consider joining our team.PPG Industries, a $10 billion leading producer of coatings, glass, chemicals, and fiberglass is seeking talented people for a Production Supervisor within Automotive OEM Glass in Evart, MI.This position provides leadership of the shift production operations by organizing activities, directing resources and developing crew personnel to their full potential. Ensures optimization of plant resources. Creates an environment that encourages involvement, creativity, teamwork and active participation in goal setting and continuous improvement initiatives in order to achieve plant safety, quality, and value targets and milestones.This position requires a high school degree or equivalent, and a minimum of one year of preliminary supervisory experience or equivalent. The incumbent must develop a thorough knowledge of glass fabrication processes, and must demonstrate the capacity for effective leadership, communications and management skills. Must possess a working knowledge of computer software. Candidates must successfully complete PPG’s Supervisor Assessment Center for consideration of this position.This position works 3rd shift, which begins at 11:30 PM and ends at 8:00 AM.
