Production Line Workers

Hatfield is currently seeking Production Line Workers to perform various duties on a high-speed line.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Ensures product being packed meets quality standards as determined by department. Ensures product is packed in proper container, tray, bag, or box. Ensures standards are followed when weighing product. Follows department guidelines of food safety. Works together as part of a team, cooperating with other employees. Rotates through various positions on the line. Performs quality checks (i.e., date and label checks, tool checks, proper scale tares).

AVAILABLE SCHEDULES:
1st shift:
5am-3:00pm
6am-4:00pm

2nd shift:
4pm-1:30am

3rd shift:
9:30pm-7:00am


Stop times vary with the workload. Listed stop times are averages only. Overtime is not guaranteed.
REQUIREMENTS
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
