Production Assembler / Welder

Purpose: South Houston Manufacturing company looking for Production Assembler / Welder to help with fabrication of fence and fencing components.

Candidate must have 1-2 years of manufacturing/production experience.
Must be able to read a tape measure.
Must be able to follow operating procedures as defined by the company.
Welding knowledge/ experience is a plus.

The candidate will be cutting aluminum and steel fence posts to specified length for production.
Stretching galvanized steel chain link to assemble the fencing product.
Using the cutting saw, punch press, and welding tables to fabricate the product to spec.
Responsible for operating a forklift to load, unload, and store raw material and finished product
Will be required to bundle finished product for distribution purposes
