Pipefitter

Must have the ability to mult-task and follow directions. Requires close attention to detail. Activities require physical labor and hand-eye coordination. The applicant should be well versed in all aspects of pipe design, layout, fabrication installation and maintenance of piping systems including BI, SS, copper, plastic and other composite materials. Welding and cutting skills should be above average. The applicant must understand basic hydraulics and pneumatics and be well versed in blueprint and symbol reading. The applicant must have knowledge of all types of rigging, chocker selection and safe rigging practices. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all safety regulations and practices. Ability to rotate shifts. Follows specific directions. High school diploma or equivalent. Applicant must posses documented proof of a completed 4-year state approved apprenticeship program and have a minimum of 2 years of field experience as a journeyman pipefitter; OR 8 years of documented experience as a journeyman pipefitter.
